Megan is passionate about helping others walk out their God-given freedom. She has a Master's degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's in Psychology. She has been leading individual, group and family therapy since 2015 and started leading day retreats at The Secret Place in 2019. Megan created these after realizing a need for disconnecting from the outside world and having a safe space to relax and recharge.


There are currently two different retreats: Overcoming Anxiety and Vision Board retreats. These are only day retreats and last four hours each.


The "Overcoming Anxiety" curriculum she teaches is what she created as God walked her through her own healing with anxiety and panic attacks. She understands first hand how debilitating anxiety and panic attacks can be. I mean, it's no fun to walk into Walmart only to have to leave ten minutes later, right?!


The "Vision Board" retreat was created by Megan as a faith based approach to explore who you are and who you are created to be. Dreaming big can be so fun!


Each retreat includes 1-2 teaching sessions, a meal, journal, folder with notes, and quiet time by the creek (to reflect on the teachings, journal, pray, etc). 


In conjunction to the "Overcoming Anxiety" retreat she also offers a monthly membership as a next level to the anxiety retreat. This is where she digs deeper with you and others through group coaching calls. Anxiety can be paralyzing, but you don't have to continue living that way or working through it alone! Through Christ, freedom is possible!
